The Emerson notecard design features 18 point Pen Print, an antique typeface designed with the casual look of hand printing. You provide the name/s, we typeset with metal type and letterpress print each card by hand. Select your ink, paper and envelope colors. Add return address printing to envelope flaps if you wish.

Personalization: Add the notecards to your cart and then you’ll be directed to a personalization form. This is where you’ll provide us with the name to be printed, and the return address if you’re adding that option. You’ll also select the ink, paper and envelope colors.
Proofs & Timing: Within two business days we'll email you a digital proof. We do not offer fully printed letterpress proofs. After you approve the digital proof, we print and ship orders within 10-12 business days.
Production: We hand-typeset each name in metal type and print on one of our antique, human-powered printing presses. The letterpress technique creates a tactile impression in the notecards, adding a special handmade touch.
Paper: Each notecard is 100% cotton, 118 lb., and measures 5.5 x 4.25 inches. (U.S. A2 size). These are flat without a fold and come in three shades of white. They are sturdy but not overly thick with a subtle, velvety texture.
Ink Color: We’ve curated a lovely palette that coordinates with the envelope colors. Make your color selection in the personalization form.
Envelopes: An equal number of high quality, A2 size envelopes are included with your notecard order. Colored envelopes have a Euro flap (triangle shape). White envelopes match the three paper colors and have a square flap.
Add Return Address Printing (optional): Return addresses are printed in two lines on the back flaps. We’ve selected a 6 or 8 point typeface in our collection to pair with each notecard design. To help automated postal scanners, we recommend black ink for greatest contrast, especially on the colored envelopes. Any of the ink colors will be readable on the white envelopes.
Packaging: Sets of 25 cards and envelopes are packaged in a clear, rPET, recyclable stationery box. We add a ribbon and a Nesja Press branded tag. Larger quantities will be securely packaged in a cardboard stationery box.
How to place orders for several different names at the same time: Create a separate notecard order for each person. Each will appear as a separate item in your cart. This gives you the flexibility to select different designs and personalizations for each person.
