Capture the timeless charm of vintage quilts with this exquisite letterpress printed artwork. Inspiration was taken from antique patchwork quilts made by the grandma and great-grandma of the artist, Christy Nesja. Each print features bold colors and intricate patterns reminiscent of vintage fabrics. Add a cozy, nostalgic touch to your space with this unique, limited edition letterpress print!

Christy designed the quilt to use five different ink colors, hand-mixing several of the colors to get the exact hue she was looking for. Each color required its own press set-up, and each printed a unique, hand-set configuration of antique, cast metal ornaments locked-up in the press bed. Printing commenced in order from lightest to darkest color: yellow, orange, gold, purple and finally violet. Great care was taken to ensure colors aligned with one another as intended.
