Add timeless charm to your thank you notes with these handcrafted letterpress cards. Each card is printed on soft cotton paper using antique wood type and a human-powered press from the late 1800s. The folded cards are blank inside, ready for your personal message, and include a short colophon on the back sharing the history of the wood type.

These particular letters carry a special story: the wood type was generously donated to Nesja Press in 2024 by the Bruce Kirkpatrick family. It was once used at the "Northfield News" in Northfield, Minnesota, and lovingly saved when Mr. Kirkpatrick closed the newspaper office in the 1970s. After spending decades in storage, the type has found new life in these cards and other studio projects—combining history, craftsmanship, and heartfelt thanks with every impression.
