On the back of each card is a short colophon explaining the history of the wood type.
Nostalgic typography with modern design sensibility.
Blank inside. 5.5 x 4.25 inches folded (U.S. A2 size).
Card stock: 118 lb, 100% cotton, tree-free.
A2 Euro flap envelopes in Terracotta
Available as single cards packaged in a clear sleeve, or as a set of five cards and envelopes packaged in a clear, rPET recyclable stationery box.
A little more about the history of the type: The wood type was donated to us in 2024 by the Bruce Kirkpatrick family, and was previously in use at the Northfield News, Northfield, Minn. Family members saved the wood type when Mr. Kirkpatrick closed the newspaper office in the 1970s. After being in storage for many decades, the old type is once again enjoying new life!
