During the Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th Century, well-known artisans of the day designed inspirational quotes and mottoes that were printed on everything from postcards to fireplace mantels. We are longtime admirers of the Arts and Crafts movement, and Christy took design inspiration from antique prints and postcards of the era. The quote itself is from a woman known as Peace Pilgrim (1908 - 1981). She dedicated the last 28 years of her life to walking across the United States to spread a message of peace.
