Letterpress Wedding Invitations
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! We understand the important role invitations will play in your special day. You’ll want them to beautifully reflect your unique style as a couple, as well as communicate important information. We would be happy to letterpress print wedding invitations for you, and work with the designer you’ve hired. Please note, we are no longer offering graphic design services for wedding invitations.
Calculate your print deadline.
One of the first things we’re going to ask is, “When do you need these by?” Your print deadline is the date you want the printed invitations in your hands. Start by knowing the date of your wedding and work backwards from there:
1. Date of your wedding.
2. Date you want your guests to reply to you by (X weeks before wedding).
3. Date you want your guests to receive the invitations by (X weeks before wedding).
4. Date you want to mail your invitations by (X weeks before wedding).
5. How do you plan to address the envelopes? Depending on the number of invitations and the method used for addressing, this amount of time can vary. For example, will you use a digital printing service, hire a calligrapher, or handwrite each address yourself? Try to estimate the number of days or weeks this task might take.
6. Good job working back this far! Somewhere near this date is the print deadline you’ll give to us.
