The Christie Personalized Letterpress Notecards
Elevate your correspondence with elegant, handcrafted, letterpress notecards. The Christie notecard design highlights the first initial of first name in a romantic 18 point script cap. First and last name appear on either side in 12 point Kabel Light all caps. (Please note, we are sadly missing script caps for X and Z.) You provide the name, we typeset it in metal type and letterpress print each card by hand in an ink color you select (example shown in Mid Green).
Ordering details:
Add the notecards to your cart and then you’ll be directed to a personalization form. This is where you’ll provide us with the name to be printed. Within two business days we'll send you a digital proof. We do not offer fully printed letterpress proofs. After you approve the digital proof, we'll get to work printing your order. We work as quickly as we can, but please plan for up to a 10 - 12 day turnaround.
Production details:
We hand-typeset each name in metal type and print the notecards on one of our antique, human-powered printing presses. The letterpress technique creates a tactile impression, adding a special handmade touch.
Paper details:
Each notecard is 100% cotton, 118 lb., and measures 5.5 x 4.25 inches. (U.S. A2 size). These are flat without a fold. They are sturdy but not overly thick with a subtle, velvety texture. Available in Bright White, White or Soft White.
Envelope details:
An equal number of high quality A2 Euro flap envelopes are included with your notecard order. The envelope color will match your selected ink color.
Ink details:
We use rubber and oil-based letterpress inks. The ink color choices are Adriatic Blue, Chartreuse Green, Mandarin Orange, Hot Pink, Cashmere Gray, Mid Green, Harvest Gold (not shiny like foil stamping), and Soft Rose.
Packaging details:
Sets of 25 cards and envelopes are packaged in a clear, rPET, recyclable stationery box. We add a ribbon and a Nesja Press branded tag. Large quantities will include at least one clear stationery box, and the rest of the order securely packaged in bulk.
